Lytton River Festival

Labour Day Weekend Celebration

Pow Wow on Sunday afternoon

The Lytton River Festival is a celebration of two great rivers—the Thompson and Fraser—and their historic and present role in the small community of Lytton.

The Interior Salish First Nations people have lived along these magnificent rivers for over 10,000 years and are an integral part of the celebration.

The Village of Lytton, Lytton First Nations, Lytton & District Chamber of Commerce, and Kumsheen Rafting Resort are just some of the active partners in this family-oriented event.

It’s a fun-filled three-day festivity that is always well organized. It features a pow wow, native artisans, children’s events, Farmers’ Market, great bands, street dancing, and much, much more. This is a good ol’ small town celebration.

You can get more information, including a detailed schedule, at the Lytton River Festival website.
