How To Get Here

Lytton is 3 hours and 20mins from downtown Vancouver. Get on TransCanada Highway 1/BC-1 Eastbound and stay on it until you reach Hope. Take exit 170, make a left at the lights and go straight through Hope. You will come out the other side back on TransCanada Highway 1/BC-1 eastbound again. Stay on it until you see the sign for Hwy 12 to Lillooet. Not too far ahead, you will see a blinking yellow cautionary light where you can make a left (there is a gas station just on the other side of the light on the left-hand side of the highway).

Follow the road down and around a bend to the right – you will pass under a railway overpass – and arrive in Lytton!

Coming from Kamloops, just get on Hwy 1 West and stay on it until you see the above mentioned turn off, and turn right.

From Lillooet, take Hwy/BC-12 South and it will take you right on to Main Street!

A bus with Adventure Charters stops in Lytton on its southbound run from Prince George to Surrey on Mondays and Thursdays at 4:11pm at the Esso gas station on the highway and arrives in Surrey at 7:31pm.

This same bus stops in Cache Creek where another bus to Kamloops can be caught.

Its northbound run from Surrey to Prince George is on Tuesdays and Fridays, leaving the Scott Rd Skytrain Station in Surrey at 7am and arriving in Lytton at 10:20am at the Esso gas station.

From the Esso, it’s about a 15-20 mins walk to town, depending on how quickly you walk and how often you stop to admire the scenery.
